Kershaw Chive Knives

The Kershaw Chive Knives were designed by custom knife maker and innovator Ken Onion. The Kershaw Chives have the patented Ken Onion Speed-Safe assisted opening mechanism. Speed-Safe is a torsion bar system that assists the blade to an open position, when activated by a push on the thumb stud, or the Index-Open blade extension.

The Kershaw Chive knives are available with stainless steel handles or aluminum handles. The stainless steel handled Chive knives are: Chive with original matte finish, High Polish Chive with all over mirror polished finish, Black Chive with all over black Boron-Carbide coat, and Rainbow Chive with all over rainbow Titanium Oxide coat. No two Rainbow Chives are exactly alike. The aluminum handled Chive knives have unique smoke anodized scales in Black and Blue, or Black and Red. New for 2007 is the Pink Chive.
