The Van Hoy CRKT Snap Lock 2 Knife is a 70 percent sized version of the original Snap Lock. The CRKT Snap Lock 2 Knife has a 1.75" Wharncliffe blade made of AUS4 stainless steel, .12" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 55-57. The blade has a decorative hole pattern, and dual thumb wheels for ambidextrous one hand opening. The stainless steel wishbone handle, 3.00" closed, has a lanyard hole, and a removable pocket clip mounted at the butt end. The Columbia River Knife and Tool Van Hoy RSL Snap Lock 2 Knife has an overall length of 4.375" when open, and weighs 1.5 ounces.
The CRKT Van Hoy RSL Snap Lock Knife was designed by custom knife maker Ed Van Hoy. The RSL (Rotating Snap Lock) has a cam locking system with two thumb wheels for ambidextrous use. Just press down on a thumb wheel and rotate the blade. The blade can rotate a full 360 degrees with the pocket clip removed, or 180 degrees in either direction with the pocket clip in place.
