The CRKT Desert Cruiser Knife was designed by custom knife maker Jim Hammond. The Columbia River Knife and Tool Hammond Desert Cruiser Knife is a Special Ops knife that features a part serrated 3.75" clip point blade made of AUS 8 stainless steel, .14" thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 57-58. The blade has a Desert Tan titanium nitride finish, false top edge, dual thumb studs, and a blade extension for ambidextrous one hand opening. The contoured handle has an InterFrame build with Desert Tan operator's pattern Zytel scales over dual 420J2 stainless steel liners. The handle has a linerlock, Lake and Walker Knife Safety, and a black Teflon plated paddle clip. The clip is side to side and end to end reversible. (The Desert Cruiser is not designed for tip-up in-pocket carry.) The Hammond Desert Cruiser is 5.25" closed, and weighs 6.1 ounces. Suggested retail price is $79.99.
