The Columbia River Knife and Tool Special Forces Folders were designed by Kit Carson with Military Special Forces in mind. The CRKT Special Forces Big Dog Knife is a "Folding Fixed Blade" that features a 3.94" part serrated tanto blade made of AUS8 stainless steel, .14" thick with a Rockwell hardness of 57-58. The blade has a non reflective blade titanium nitride coat, dual thumb studs, and dual Carson Flippers for ambidextrous one hand opening. The dual Carson Flippers form a true hilt when the blade is deployed, which is very rare in a folding knife. The drilled black anodized aluminum handle, 5.31" closed, has the Lake and Walker Knife Safety (LAWKS), and liner lock. The Special Forces Big Dog includes an end to end-side to side reversible gear clip. Please note that the M16 Special Forces series is not designed for in pocket carry. The Special Forces Big Dog knife weighs 5.6 ounces. Suggested retail price is $129.99.
