The blade of this Gerber knife has dual thumb studs, a finger flip, and FAST assist for ambidextrous one hand opening. The FAST (Forward Action Spring Technology) is a patented blade opening mechanism developed by custom knife maker Butch Vallotton. The black glass filled nylon handle of this Gerber knife, 4.17" closed, has a slide lock. A stainless steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end. The Gerber Fast Draw Knife has an overall length of 7.13" when open, and weighs 3.6 ounces.
