Each Gerber Fast Draw Knife has a revolutionary blade opening mechanism developed and patented by custom Oregon knife maker Butch Vallotton. The F.A.S.T. (Forward Action Spring Technology) of the Fast Draw Gerber knife is activated by a nudge of the thumb stud or the finger flip for FAST deployment of the blade.
