This Spyderco Knife is the Spyderco Tasman Salt Knife that features a 2 15/16" hawkbill blade made of H1 steel. The blade of this Spyderco Knife has a Spyderco hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The yellow fiberglass reinforced nylon handle, 4" closed, has a Volcano Grip texture, Boye dent lockback, and a lanyard hole. A side to side reversible metal pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Spyderco knife. The Spyderco Tasman Salt Knife has an overall length of 6 13/16" and weighs 2 ounces.
The Spyderco Tasman Salt Knife has a blade made out of a PH (precipitation hardened) steel that doesn't rust. H1 steel is naturally hard, and it will hold a sharpened cutting edge equivalent to many carbon steels. H1 has 1 percent nitrogen instead of carbon, so it cannot rust.
